The primary aim of our "In the Field" services is to inspire discussion and observation strategies with respondents that offer rich descriptions and explanations of behaviors and attitudes.

While we are able to provide advice to you and your colleagues on any form of data collection, our expertise lies with in-person sessions like face-to-face interviews and focus groups and on-site evaluations of a phenomenon typical of ethnographic fieldwork. Fieldwork skills are normally refined via a work session format. Your data directs the substance of our interaction before, during and after our in-person meetings. Clients frequently supplement work sessions with on-going consultation where we observe either live or videotaped sessions of actual data collection episodes. Open, constructive follow-up discussions lead us to establish solid sets of skills among your research team members.
